We often hear the importance of being proactive in situations; that is, planning and thinking through various scenarios. Did you know there is a virtue that helps us to plan ahead? It is foresight, a virtue related to prudence. This week we are focusing on Lectio Divina—the prayerful reading of Scripture—in order to help you plan ahead for the season of Lent. By taking the time to intentionally think and plan for Lent, you can develop a more intimate and personal relationship with the person of Jesus Christ.
 
Yes, we have developed journals to guide you through this season but most importantly, we hope that you can recognize the joy of establishing your relationship with Christ. This can happen by practicing the virtue of foresight and creating your own plan.
